Development and Safety Evaluation of Electrical Fire Prevention System (ETEC-DPS)

In this study, we developed an electrical fire prevention system (ETEC-DPS) to prevent fires by detecting the current (Igr) generated from wires in real time. We aimed present evaluation of product verifying its safety. The printed circuit board (PCB) used inside ETEC-DPS was 90 mm wide and 55 long. PCB produced using a flame-retardant ABS resin. Three valid numbers were displayed for measurement current, Igr up 0.1 mA flowing into wire detected It designed sound alarm at same time that LED lamp flashed as increased set value reached. RS485 had built-in communication function, which checked real-time status on administrator's PC. addition, short warning breaker (JER-E2S) with lamps installed quarterly circuit. safety assessment ETEC-DPS, marking Igr, flashing lamps, transmission, functions evaluated. satisfied all items is believed be able fundamentally generation if building.
